MEET KAITLIN
COMMUNICATIONS PROFESSIONAL EXTRAORDINAIRE
I’m a reluctant millennial with a nerd-level love of the Oxford comma.
Few things in this world make me happier than a well-placed semicolon or angrier than an unnecessary apostrophe.
Writing has been my primary skill for as long as I can remember. In addition to my natural talent (#humblebrag), I have a Master of Arts in Writing and Publishing from DePaul University, a certificate in digital marketing from Cornell University, and experience writing internal and external communications for companies in a variety of industries including higher education, retail, and financial services.
I also built this website, so I’m clearly a multi-faceted individual.
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU HIRE ME:
I have never had a cup of coffee. Some people think this is a dealbreaker.
I do, however, have an alarming addiction to McDonald’s Diet Coke.
Why, yes. Yes, that is a Glamour Shots photo circa 1995. Thank you for asking.
My GIF game is strong.
In my pre-COVID office life, I kept a stash of candy at my desk at all times. This is part of my highly successful strategy to win friends and influence people.
In my post-COVID WFH life, I still keep a stash of candy at all times. I’m not trying to bribe myself, I just have a severe sweet tooth.
I talk about my dog more than is advisable by 9 out of 10 medical professionals.
SPEAKING OF PUPPIES…MEET MY EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT,
Norm Peterson
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT NORM BEFORE YOU HIRE ME:
Yes, he was named after Norm from Cheers.
He likes to take notes during video calls.
He’s not the best typist, but his work/life balance skills are legendary.
